HKTaxi Referral Program Terms and Conditions The HKTaxi Referral Program (the “Promotion”) is only applicable to HKTaxi app (“HKTaxi”) users (“User(s)”) holding a valid credit card (“Eligible Card”), excluding Apple Pay and Google Pay. A cardholder holding a valid Eligible Card shall be referred to as the “Cardholder” below. An “Eligible Transaction” occurs when a Cardholder books a taxi ride through the HKTaxi and uses his/her Eligible Card to pay for all relevant fares and fees associated with that taxi ride.

1. Promotion Period: From now until 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive and based on transaction date)
2. The referrer (“Referrer(s)”) must be an existing Cardholder and User; each Referrer has a unique promo code that can be found on the “Share HKTaxi” page on HKTaxi (“Promo Code”). The referee (“Referee(s)”) must not have completed any e-payment transactions via HKTaxi prior to enjoying the Offer and must be directly referred by the Referrer.
3. Offer:
   3.1 The Referees shall enter the Referrers’ Promo Code at the “Add a Coupon” box on the “Payment Method” page on HKTaxi to receive a HK$25 credit card coupon (“Coupon”). The Referees must then redeem the Coupon and enjoy a deduction of HK$25 or the total fare (whichever is lower) from the total payable amount when they book through HKTaxi and pay for such taxi ride (the total taxi fare is inclusive of tolls of roads and tunnels, any administration fee, additional charges, surcharges and tips) with an Eligible Card, and the Referrer will then receive a Coupon.
   3.2 The Referrer is able to redeem a HK$25 Coupon (“Coupon”) and enjoy a deduction of HK$25 or the total fare (whichever is lower) from the total payable amount when they book through HKTaxi and pay for such taxi ride (the total taxi fare is inclusive of tolls of roads and tunnels, any administration fee, additional charges, surcharges and tips) with an Eligible Card.
   3.3 To use the Coupon obtained under this Offer, Users must indicate clearly their wish to redeem the Coupon before booking the taxi ride by confirming the process at their own HKTaxi account.
4. For the avoidance of doubt, each Cardholder can only redeem the Offer as a Referee for once, and the Offer is only applicable on each Referee’s first transaction that fulfills the aforementioned Offer requirement, regardless of whether his/her credit card is signed up at multiple HKTaxi accounts; if the Cardholder has signed up the same credit card at multiple HKTaxi accounts and has completed an electronic payment transaction through one or more of such account(s), he/she is not eligible for the Offer as a Referee through any of such account.
5. Users who have completed one or more transactions with an electronic payment method prior to redeeming the Coupon are not eligible for this Offer as a Referee.
6. Users whose phone numbers are registered on the HKTaxi Driver app are not eligible for the Offer as a Referee.
7. Each person can enjoy the Offer as a Referee on each phone once only. For the avoidance of doubt, all HKTaxi accounts that have been signed in on the same phone are collectively eligible for the Offer as a Referee once, and the Offer is only applicable on each Referee’s first transaction that fulfills the aforementioned Offer requirement. If such person has completed an electronic payment transaction through one or more of such account(s), he/she is not eligible for the Offer as a Referee through any of such account.
8. Users who have obtained the HKTaxi New E-payment Member Program coupon prior to entering a Referrer’s Promo Code are not eligible for this Offer as a Referee.
9. The scope of electronic payment method is limited to credit cards, the Octopus App, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
10. If the taxi fare is priced lower than the face value of the Coupon, no refund will be made.
11. The Coupon will be forfeited 30 days after the Referrer/ the Referee receives it.
12. The use of Coupon obtained under these Offers are subject to the terms and conditions as stipulated by HKTaxi App Limited.
13. Only one coupon can be used for each Eligible Transaction.
14. The Offer is with quota and will be served in first come first served basis from HKTaxi App Limited.
15. The Offer above cannot be exchanged for cash/ service, other products, or discounts. The Offer is not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts and promotional offers.
16. HKTaxi App Limited reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and to vary or terminate the Offers without prior notice. Users’ use of services provided by HKTaxi App Limited after the update to these Terms and Conditions indicates his/her agreement to be bound by the updated Terms and Conditions.
17. In the event of disputes, the decision of HKTaxi App Limited shall be final and binding.
18. The Offers are only applicable to Cardholders whose Eligible Card accounts are determined at the sole discretion of the Bank to be in good standing and remain valid and not in default during the relevant promotion period.
19. Any fraud and/or abuse committed by any person, as determined by HKTaxi App Limited at their sole discretion, in relation to the Offers will result in the forfeiture of the person’s eligibility to the Offer. HKTaxi App Limited reserves the right to deduct the value of any Offer redeemed inappropriately from any account in which the redeemed Offer is stored without prior notice and/or take legal actions in such instances to recover any outstanding amounts.
20. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
