General Terms and Conditions:

1. The promotion is only applicable to the HKTaxi Mobile Application (“HKTaxi App”).
2. Unless otherwise specific, The promotion period is from August 15, 2022 (starting from 09:00) to September 30, 2022 (until 23:59), both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
3. Unless otherwise specified, this promotion applies to Cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi Credit Cards (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card) issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”), who are also users of the HKTaxi App regardless of whether one or more Eligible Cards are signed up at HKTaxi App).
4. HKTaxi App Limited (the “Merchant”) may reject a Citi Credit Card if its payment system cannot handle the card type. Please contact the Merchant for details.
5. A "Single Net Transaction" applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts and value of coupons. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.
6. Citibank will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to participate in this promotion, as well as the transactions, based on Citibank’s records.
7. In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the offers were awarded, Citibank reserves the right to debit from the Cardholder’s credit card account or (as the case may be) bank accounts the equivalent amount of the offers without prior notice.
8. Cardholders’ accounts must be valid and with good credit record during the Promotion Period and the fulfillment period in order to be eligible to receive the offers, otherwise Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the offers without prior notice.
9. Cardholders must keep and submit the relevant original card sales slips and original merchant sales receipts and/or other documents in respect of the Single Net Transactions for inspection upon request by Citibank. All documents submitted to Citibank will not be returned.
10. Unless otherwise specified, this promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons offered by other bank(s), nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
11. Unless otherwise specified, the offers in this promotion can be redeemed at the same time.
12. Unless otherwise specified, all amounts will be counted in Hong Kong Dollars.
13. The offers received from this promotion cannot be used to settle any previous outstanding balances or withdrawn as a cash advance, nor can they be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
14. Availability of the offers or services is subject to availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank and the Merchant at their absolute discretion. Photos, product specifications and prices are for reference only.
15. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services. The Merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services. Please contact the Merchant for details.
16. Citibank and the Merchant reserve the right to amend the terms & conditions without prior notice. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank and the Merchant.
17. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms & conditions, the English version shall prevail.
18. Unless otherwise specified, The HKTaxi Coupon will be directly credited to the Cardholder’s HKTaxi App account by the Merchant within 24 hours upon fulfillment of the offer requirement. The Merchant will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to receive the HKTaxi Coupon based on its records at its sole and absolute discretion. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the HKTaxi Coupon fulfillment arrangement. “New Sign-up Cardholders earn HK$20 in HKTaxi Coupon” (“Offer 1”)Terms and Conditions:

19. “New Sign-up Cardholder” refers to a Cardholder who successfully signs up an Eligible Card at HKTaxi App as the payment method during the Promotion Period for the first time, or to a Cardholder who has not used any Eligible Card as the payment method at HKTaxi App for the past 12 months, which is August 15, 2021 to August 14, 2022, both dates inclusive. New Sign-up Cardholders are entitled to a HK$20 in HKTaxi coupon.
20. The Merchant will determine the eligibility of New Sign-up Cardholders to receive the HKTaxi Coupon based on its records at its sole and absolute discretion and the HKTaxi Coupon will be directly credited to the New Sign-up Cardholder’s HKTaxi App account in advance by the Merchant. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the HKTaxi Coupon fulfillment arrangement. 21. In order to use the HKTaxi Coupon, New Sign-up Cardholders are required to sign up successfully using an Eligible Card at HKTaxi App as the payment method. New Sign-up Cardholders are required to choose to use the HKTaxi Coupon when booking a taxi ride or before the taxi fare payment at HKTaxi App, and must settle the taxi fare with an Eligible Card. Such taxi fare must be the Cardholder’s first Single Net Transaction at HKTaxi App.
22. During the Promotion Period, New Sign-up Cardholder can enjoy Offer 1 once only, amounting to a maximum of HK$20 in HKTaxi Coupon.
23. Only the first 2,000 Cardholders who fulfill the aforementioned offer requirements (as defined in Clause 21) during the Promotion Period are eligible for Offer 1 on a first-come-first-served basis, while the quota lasts.
24. The HKTaxi Coupon will be forfeited automatically at the end of the Promotion Period.

“Pay your fare to earn up toHK$90 per month in HKTaxi Coupons" (“Offer 2”) Terms and Conditions:

25. During Promotion Period, Cardholders who make any Single Net Transaction for certain times at HKTaxi App are entitled to enjoy Offer 2 . Details are as follows:

26. During the Promotion Period, each Cardholder can enjoy Offer 2 ONCE per calendar month, amounting to a maximum of up to HK$90 in HKTaxi Coupons per calendar month.
27. Only the first 10,000 Cardholders who fulfill the aforementioned offer requirements during the Promotion Period are eligible for the Offer 2 on a first-come-first-served basis, while the quota lasts.

“Citi Pay with Points Reward” ("Offer 3") Terms and Conditions:

28. All Single Net Transactions (based on transaction dates, as defined in Clause 5), Citi Pay with Points redemptions (based on redemption dates, as defined in “Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions) must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
29. Offer 3 only applies to principal cardholders of Citi Ultima Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi Plus^® Credit Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Gold Card and Citi Classic Card issued by Citibank (“Designated Cards”) who are also users of the HKTaxi App.
30. During the Promotion Period, Cardholders who make a Single Net Transaction of HK$80 or above with Designated Cards at HKTaxi App and subsequently make a successful Citi Pay with Points redemption of HK$80 or above at HKTaxi App, are entitled to a HK$20 HKTaxi Coupon.
31. During the Promotion Period, each Cardholder can enjoy Offer 4 FOUR times per calendar month, amounting to a maximum of up to HK$80 in HKTaxi Coupons per calendar month.
32. Only the first 10,000 Cardholders who fulfill the aforementioned offer requirement in each calendar month during the Promotion Period are eligible for Offer 3 on a first-come-first-served basis, while the quota lasts.
33. Cardholders are required to maintain sufficient available Citi Points of equivalent value of at least HK$80 in their Designated Card accounts in order to complete the Citi Pay with Points redemption to enjoy Offer 4. Citi Pay with Points via HKTaxi App is subject to other terms and conditions - please refer to “Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions for details.
34. The HKTaxi Coupons are issued in denomination of HK$20.

“Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars Reward” (“Offer 4”) Terms and Conditions:

35. All Citi Points Conversion redemptions (based on redemption dates, as defined in “Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars” Terms and Conditions) must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
36. Offer 4 only applies to principal cardholders of Citi Ultima Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi Plus^® Credit Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Gold Card and Citi Classic Card issued by Citibank (“Designated Cards”) who are also users of the HKTaxi App.
37. During the Promotion Period, Cardholders who make a successful Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars of 600 or above with Designated Cards at HKTaxi App are entitled to HK$150 in HKTaxi Coupon.
38. New Citi Points Conversion Redeemer who makes a Citi Points Conversion to 600 Taxi Dollars or above with Designated Cards at HKTaxi App are entitled to get an extra HK$50 in HKTaxi Coupon (“New Points Conversion Redeemer Offer”).
39. “New Citi Points Conversion Redeemer” refers to a Cardholder who makes a Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars for the first time at HKTaxi App during the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, Cardholder who has made any Citi Points Conversion at HKTaxi App before the Promotion Period is not regarded as New Citi Points Conversion Redeemer.
40. During the Promotion Period, each Cardholder can enjoy Offer 4 TWICE per calendar month which only applies to the first two redemptions that fulfill the aforementioned offer requirement, amounting to a maximum of up to HK$300 in HKTaxi Coupons per calendar month and New Points Conversion Redeemer Offer amounting to HK$50. For the avoidance of doubt, New Citi Points Conversion Redeemer can enjoy the New Points Conversion Redeemer Offer ONCE only during the Promotion Period.
41. Only the first 10,000 Cardholders who fulfill the aforementioned offer requirement in each calendar month during the Promotion Period are eligible for Offer 4 on a first-come-first-served basis, while the quota lasts.
42. Cardholders are required to maintain sufficient available Citi Points of equivalent value to at least HK$600 in their Designated Card accounts in order to complete the Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars redemption to enjoy Offer 4. Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars via HKTaxi App is subject to other terms and conditions – please refer to “Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars” Terms and Conditions for details.
43. The HKTaxi Coupons are issued in denominations of HK$50.

HKTaxi Coupon Usage Terms and Conditions:

44. Unless otherwise specified, all HKTaxi Coupons will expire 90 days from the date of issuance and will be forfeited automatically upon expiry.
45. Cardholders are required to maintain a valid HKTaxi App account through a local mobile phone number and sign up with an Eligible Card as the payment method at HKTaxi App before using the HKTaxi Coupons.
46. In order to use the HKTaxi Coupon, Cardholders are required to choose to use an HKTaxi Coupon when booking a taxi ride or before the taxi fare payment at HKTaxi App.
47. Unless otherwise specified, Cardholders must settle the taxi fare with a Citi Credit Card issued by Citibank (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card) (“Eligible Transaction”).
48. HKTaxi Coupons are applicable to fares settled with HKTaxi Pay for Street-Hail and rides prebooked and settled via HKTaxi app.
49. Only one HKTaxi Coupon can be used per Eligible Transaction.
50. HKTaxi Coupons are non-refundable and shall be used in accordance with their terms and conditions. Please contact the Merchant for details.

“Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions

1. Citi Pay with Points Redemption Service (“Service”) applies to Principal Cardholders ("Eligible Cardholders") of Citi Classic Card, Citi Gold Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi Plus^® Credit Card, Citi PremierMiles Card and Citi Ultima Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") ("Eligible Cards"). 

2. This Service is applicable to the Single Net Transaction (as defined in Clause 3 below) Cardholders made at HKTaxi Mobile Application (“HKTaxi App”) with an Eligible Card (“Eligible Transaction”).

3. A "Single Net Transaction" applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.

4. To enjoy this Service, Eligible Cardholders must verify their identity by providing their mobile phone number that has been registered with Citibank, as per Citibank’s last updated record, to receive a One-Time Password, and the identity verification will be confirmed upon the One-Time Password is correctly entered. Eligible Cardholders can select the amount to redeem with Citi Points (“Points”) and complete the redemption under the Service. 

5. Identity verification will not be required for subsequent redemptions made by the same Eligible Card under the same HKTaxi account. 

6. The Service is valid immediately after performing the Eligible Transaction. In any case Cardholders exit from HKTaxi App voluntarily or involuntarily including but not limited to network disconnection, technical device malfunction or unexpected outage on HKTaxi App, during any of the steps illustrated under Clause 4-5 above, Cardholders will not be eligible to enjoy the Service and will require to make another Eligible Transaction at HKTaxi App to enjoy the Service. 

7. The amount of Points redeemed for statement credits to offset Eligible Transaction will be deducted from Eligible Card account. Cardholders may redeem up to Eligible Transaction amount in full with Points or available Points at Eligible Card account (whichever is lower). Cardholders must redeem a minimum amount, which is subject to the minimum required Points shown in the Citi Pay with Points page under HKTaxi App for each redemption. Statement credits will be posted to Eligible Cardholders’ Card Account within 7 calendar days of redemption.

8. The redemption rate varies by credit card types and may change from time to time. The exact redemption amount and points required are based on the display at the Citi Pay with Points page under HKTaxi App at the time of redemption.

9. Eligible Cardholders must promptly update Citibank of any change to mobile phone number. Citibank shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from the Service.

10. The Service cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash or other promotion.

11. If under any circumstances Eligible Cardholders return or cancel the Eligible Transaction, any associated statement credit will remain on Eligible Cardholders’ Card Account and Points will not be returned.

    “Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars” Terms and Conditions

13. Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars Service (“Service”) applies to Principal Cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi Classic Card, Citi Gold Card, Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Plus^® Credit Card, Citi Prestige Card and Citi Ultima Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") ("Eligible Cards").

14. This Service is applicable to Cardholders’ Citi Points Conversion to Taxi Dollars (“Redemption”)** **via HKTaxi mobile application (“HKTaxi App”).

15. To enjoy this Service, Cardholders must verify their identity by providing the last 4 digits of their Eligible Cards and their mobile numbers registered with HKTaxi (which must be the same as the registered mobile numbers with Citibank) to receive a One-Time Password, and the identity verification will be confirmed upon the One-Time Password being correctly entered. Cardholders can select the Citi Points amount to convert to Taxi Dollars and complete the Redemption under the Service.

16. Citibank is not responsible for any failure to submit and/or process any Redemption arising from Cardholders’ exit, voluntarily or involuntarily, during any of the steps illustrated under Clause 3, including but not limited to network disconnection, technical device malfunction or any delay, interruption or disruption of HKTaxi’s Online Platform or system.

17. The minimum value of Taxi Dollars that can be converted under each Redemption is HK$50. The maximum aggregate value of Taxi Dollars that can be converted by the same HKTaxi account per day is HK$1,000. The Redemption is subject to the Cardholder’s available Citi Points in the Eligible Card account.

18. The amount of Citi Points redeemed will be deducted from the Cardholder’s Eligible Card account.

19. The redemption rate may vary by credit card types and may change from time to time. The exact Citi points required for Redemption are based on the redemption rate displayed at the HKTaxi Online Platform at the time of redemption.

20. Cardholders must promptly update Citibank of any change to their mobile number. Such updated mobile number must be the same as the registered mobile number with HKTaxi in order to enjoy the Service. Citibank shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from the Service.

21. Once the Redemption is confirmed, it is irreversible and it cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash or other promotion.
